Types of Vinyl that I Use

Specs are according to Oracal USA Guide.

                                                 

Indoor Vinyl - Oracal 631 - Exhibition Cal

Finish - Matte

Thickness - 3 mil (vinyl without adhesive or backing)

Durability - 3 years on indoor vertical wall applications.

Adhesive – Polyacrylate Dispersion, Removable

Oracal 631 can be used indoor or out, but it doesn’t hold up as well outdoors, as outdoor vinyl does. Not recommended for vehicle graphics.

Outdoor Vinyl - Oracal 651 - Intermediate Cal

Finish - High Gloss

Thickness - 2.5 mil (vinyl without adhesive or backing)

Durability - 6 years on outdoor vertical application.

Adhesive – Solvent Polyacrylate, Permanent

Oracal 651 is a performance grade vinyl well suited for outdoor applications, such as automobile decals.
