How to apply your Vinyl Lettering to your wall or project:

How to apply your Vinyl Lettering to your wall or project:

Your vinyl design/lettering comes in 3 layers: 1 – the top layer (transfer tape), 2 – the middle layer (the design or lettering), 3 – the bottom layer (white shiny backing paper).

Prepare your design
Lay your design on a flat dry surface, face down. Using a squeegee rub the design, horizontally and vertically. This will remove any wrinkles and ensure that the design is securely attached to the transfer tape.

Prepare your wall surface
Make sure your wall is free of dirt, wax, oils and moisture. Walls will need to be completely dry before applying your design.

#1 Position Your Letters
Position your vinyl sheet on the wall, centering the letters and securing it
with masking or paint tape, which acts as a hinge for the project.
#2 Remove the Backing
Flip the lettering sheet upward and slowly peel the bottom layer off.  Then
flip the lettering back onto the wall.
#3 Rub the Letters
Using the popsicle stick, rub over the top layer to secure the lettering to your
wall. Work from the center out to both sides.

Enjoy!!!

If you are a visual person, YouTube has several videos on applying wall designs. I really like the one by Accent Studios, called “Wall Decals: How To Apply a Wall Decal – Accent Studios Wall Decals.”
